Every weekend, I go to the markets. Today, I did some drawings there as I am going to a textile workshop next week and we have to prepare a theme in advance. My theme will be the markets - the shopping, cafe- sitting and people-watching that people do there. This is the box of fruit and vegies that I bought.

Nice job! had to read the post to figure out why the bananas were where they are.
It is wonderful where you can find inspiration of art making! I love the little ad for Aussie produce too, you cheeky girl ;-)

Great painting. please share info from your workshop - it sounds so interesting and many of us are passionate about textiles and quilting.
Wow, so beautifully done! Great depth in the box too. Wonderful colors and textures.
Alison: I love the box of fruit/veggies. I, too, love the farmers market...downtown Kansas City, MO. I love your colors and composition. Thanks for sharing.
