My illustrated childhood memoir
About my 'memory paintings'.
Inspired by Neil Curtis in his book, 'The Memory Book', my memory paintings catch impressions and moments from my first ten years, in St Andrews, Scotland in the 60's. They are all 12 x 9 cm, mostly pen and watercolour, on Arches HP. They are now published in an 8" x 10" book through Blurb.

Alison, I have visited your blog today for the first time and I'm bookmarking you and coming back often. I love your memory book drawings in particular. I haven't heard of the idea before (or whoever it was that you mentioned) but I would like to try doing one myself. We seem to have a lot in common - same age, same-ish background (or so it seems) and possibly the same HRT!(?) Very interesting blog. Congratulations.
