I have been delayed by extra care duties but now I'm nearly finished the draft of my book, Painted Memories. There were also more pictures insisting they be painted than I thought there would be. I'm just hoping that the colours will print true enough but will have to wait to get a proof copy before I know. In the book, the text will not be in a 'box' like this - I had to scan this sample as Blogger won't (yet) do personal fonts.
Anyway, for now, I can only say Happy Christmas all.

Alison, seems ages between your posts but they are always interesting, I hope next year is a better year for us, but I doubt it, the older you get the worse it seems to get!
Have a very Happy and memorable Christmas and New Year.
Love Penny

Super, Alison. I can't wait for the book to come out. I hope the colors reproduce properly. And A very Merry Christmas to you and hopes for a bright New Year.

Delightful painting and such a good idea for a journal/book. Will look forward to hearing about publishing. Jill (in Newcastle, Aust)

Great sketch, Alison. I bet everyone was horrified at the time. They grab what's nearest to them to keep from falling.
A very Merry Christmas to you all

Best wishes for a peaceful holiday season. Christmas Day for us was a beautiful family day. Now let's hope the Immigration guys in Canberra are smiling when they receive our family's application!
Nice story about a Christmas mishap. Guess we all should dredge our memories for such moments.
