A grouping of two - I caught these ladies at the library, discussing the difficulties of independent living and how they don't want to be a burden on their daughters. I loved the hands of the woman on the right but she kept moving them ... and then they left to buy a coffee.
Unbeknownst to me, another old lady had been standing behind me, watching me draw. When I finished, she said what fun she'd had watching the picture emerge. Out of nothing, smiles all round!

I like the sketch, I can almost see the conversation transpiring, good job on thier body posture.

I like the bit about the lady behind you, too.

What a funny story! This is a great drawing of the ladies, and your condiment drawings are just a hoot! :-)

I like to watch the watchers too! Very interesting sketch! Your memory drawings are wonderful, we used to watch those TV programmes too. I was growing up in London in the 60's and 70's, it's funny how it sounds similar to yours!
